For the launch of Sauvage I created a custom typeface intended to blend the concepts of masculinity and refinement that were inherent in the product’s positioning. Sharp lines and elongated descenders juxtapose with classic, humanist letterforms bringing a tension to the messaging wherever it is seen.
The type was used to create the word mark for the fragrance and used in all aspects of the marketing.
